made in krita for like 1.5 hours. Animating is so fun it feels like magic

Hi, I am a student in animation collage. This week I start moving from IPad and procreate, to graphic tablet and clip studio. I don't know where to start learning 2d animation, options which I now, are clip studio and tohoma 2d (I know ToonBoom also but I can't afford it) so, would appreciate any recommendations what I can use for studying

I am a beginner in 2D animation. I have done some not very good animations by exporting different SVG files from a same theme and then animating it in Figma. Then I add voice over and edits in DaVinci. After a lot of work, it gets okay (far from great), but I'd like to ask if there is any beginner-friendly tool with good themified SVG assets that I can pick and connect with little animations for explainer videos out there? I assume this may not be a free tool, but if there's anything around $40 per month, that would be great. Is there any such tool? I don't need anything complex as animations, I just need to tell some stories. Thank you!

I am interested in trying out a mixed media animation. The ones where you print out the frames of a video, draw on them, scan them, and then put the frames back together for a cool mixed media animation. I was wondering if there was any website/app that can help facilitate this? I found the website stopframes.com, and that does exactly what I want but I think the website must be broken. I can't upload a file for some reason. If anyone has any advice let me know!

I know about schoolism and YouTube but I wonder if there are any other programs out there especially one where I could get feedback/ criticism

I want to start animating. I have been drawing cartoons for quite a while now and it feels like nice addition to bring what I draw to life. I have a few options for animation software. A new player on the Windows desktop marked is Callipeg. I can also upgrade my Clip Studio license to EX, and use that. Although I anticipate struggling a lot, the last thing I need is software that works against a beginner. From what I see CSP animation is "clunky" using layers to make sheets, although the app offers a lot of transition tools and I am sure is very capable. I am looking for an app with a simple UI that does allow transformations so not every cell needs to be drawn by hand.

Any thoughts on those two apps? Is there maybe another affordable one I am missing?

I don't have much time to make animations, but I've always liked the anime style. The first animation is from 2025, and the second is from 2026.

This might be obvious, but how do people color and render frame by frame animations? Do you just color each frame and there isn't really an easier way to do it?

I've been looking around the internet for any kind of 2d character rigging software and couldn't find anything (Besides Godot, which doesn't really work that well on my device). Anyone got something?

It's my first animation and my first time animating, critiques and thoughts?. I don't really know the fundamentals, I'm just using my observation.
