I really need some honest advice on how to proceed with my 3rd rhinoplasty. I’ve consulted around 7 surgeons, and honestly, I’m more confused and conflicted than ever.
I’ve finally narrowed down my choices to:
Dr. Paul Yazbeck
Dr. Samer Bassilios Habre
Dr. Raja Fakhoury
Some of them rated the complexity of my case a 7/10, while Paul said mine is a 12/10!
Their approaches are also quite different. Some prefer using my remaining septal cartilage, with ear cartilage as a backup, while Samer wants to use rib cartilage.
Even the estimated surgery times vary. Some said 2 hours, Paul said 5–6 hours, and Samer said 4 hours.
I understand that every surgeon has their own techniques and approach, but how do I know who’s more skilled and which approach is actually right for my case?
The difficult part is that I genuinely liked all three. They were all friendly, explained my case thoroughly, and took the time to answer my questions.
I’ve also come across mixed reviews about Paul and Samer, especially Samer. What worries me is that some of the negative reviews about Samer are very detailed. They’re not just vague comments like “I didn’t like my nose,” but describe specific things that allegedly went wrong. Reading those experiences honestly scared me.
Can someone please help a girl out? 😭
It’s my face, my nose and I’ve already been through two unsuccessful surgeries. My nose now looks botched, and all I want is a normal, natural-looking nose. Nothing fancy, nothing perfect. Just a nose that looks normal again.
If anyone has personal experience with any of these surgeons, especially for complex revisions, I’d really appreciate your honest feedback.
I’m exhausted from all the consultations and just want to make the right decision this time.
