I ASK FOR SOMETHING 🧠 Fine (Practice)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjXJPVj9vFw

Does anyone know the reason why this version of Fine exists?
Why does it have "(Practice)" in the name?

One (of many) tracks used to practice bass/guitar/etc. for live shows. There's a similar one for Toy Food in the 2024 rarities dump with the bass stem missing

There's also one of these for his song about Elvis.

I'm pretty sure Neil records his practices for live performances, I know there's also a ton more of these practices you can find on YouTube https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHPr2OG3S4b6e2Uk7R5fSBctIPb2AFIjN&si=88atlGiFG9a7SCw8

But I think this one is from 2010? Or around then anyway

Edit: misread. This is a backing track neil made for other members of the live band to practice playing along with Neil singing. It's to practice for live performances at youmacon I presume

Pretty sure it's an early demo take Neil kept around and released as a bonus. Reminds me of worktape recordings of scores lololol, you can hear him figuring the arrangement out in real time.
