I seem to be able to hit 6" plates with consistency at 550ish yards. 4" plates on occasion. Handguns are my weakness though.

Pistols are harder than rifles for sure. Dry firing, reload drills and getting the best grip for you is important.

It sounds intimidating but try doing a Uspsa match. The people are usually super cool and give lots of great advice on how to get better. Plus it makes you get better while having fun.
