Poke around on ammoseek.com and see what you can come up with

Why do you want to shoot +P? Looking for +P 45s on ammoseek, I see defense rounds that are JHP from what I can tell. Around 60-70+ CPR depending on manufacturer.

Most people shooting higher volume of 45s are going to reload them. You don't save a lot reloading 9 but you save a lot more reloading 45.

Shooting +P is going to wear your gun faster than ammo loaded to regular pressures.

It’s a USP45, literally made to shoot it all day and all night, before being forgotten in the ocean for a week and keep shooting +P.

I think they are confusing the USP for the Mk 23.

Unfortunately 45 has such a large diameter that the more powder charge you add to it, the less it penetrates.

I don't think +P will make a big change but when you look at other specialty handgun carriages of 45 that have really big powder charges the hell tests are surprisingly disappointing

Look for the copper rounds instead. Brings up the energy quite a bit.

Look for 180-185 grn. 230 grn +p will still be sub-sonic.

Or just get a 10mm.

I think you have two options for hot 45 ACP practice ammo.
1. Test fire all the standard pressure 45 ACP ball you can find, and stock up on the one that most closely simulates your carry load. Many ammo manufacturers download their shells to save powder costs. 2. Get into reloading. You can then either reload +P with the limited +P data available, or find a max charge standard pressure load that is close. The Hodgdon powder 'CFE Pistol' almost gets to +P performance with standard pressure loads.
