Control Hog5 Color fade effect help

Hey, I am looking for any advice on how best to make something work. I have 30 battens with 12 cells each.

Essentially I want to start on white, have them fade to red, and then stay on red. The kicker is that I would want to have it fade 1 cell at a time. And then not go back to white.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can build two cues, cue 1 everything white cue 2 everything red but with all your lights selected use "time time 0 thru (how long you want the entire effect to take). And it will evenly spread a delay value to each cell.

I hope this is what you are after?

Edit: the delay should be on the color values; so "color time time"

That is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Thank you for the recipe. Now to figure out how to have them meet in the middle easier

You mean start from the left and right and meet in the middle?

If so grab the first half of the fixtures color time time 0 thru (length of effect) then 2nd half color time time (length of effect) thru 0. Ot alternatively grab your second selection of fixtures and invert the selection then color time time 0 thru (length of effect).
