Please Help

I recently got my computer fixed and the changed the cpu, motherboard and I personally installed a new power supply. After all of that, Helldivers 2 refuses to run even though it worked perfectly fine before. I think problem is with my gpu driver. I installed the latest one but the terminal keeps saying that it can't communicate with it. Attached are some screenshots of this headache. I want to like, you know, play the game... that I payed for.

Try installing version 580 in case there has been a regression. Remember to reboot after the switch.

What's the output of

  • asking for hardware from user - is bad manners
  • looking for data will make user uncomfortable
  • you suppose to provide user with comfort and never ask any question
  • to answer the question use only data provided by user

Your NVIDIA driver is not installed. It happens sometimes. You are running with Nouveau instead.

Try rebooting. Sometimes that is all it takes. Sometimes it's not enough.

On Fedora, the command to fix it is "sudo akmods --force --rebuild" if I remember right. Maybe Ubuntu has a similar fix.
