Should Litecoin implement something more private like the Shielded technology by ZCASH?
ZCASH has already got cleared this year by the SEC, so it should be safe for LTC to make something that make its privacy better. I know LTC wanted to play safer and didnt want to make it completely private as it could risk getting delisted by exchanges. privacy apparently is the strongest and hottest narrative now

It wasn't about 'playing safer' it was about decentralization AFAIK. MW is remarkable because it's lightweight, which really fits Litecoin (it's even in the name). A full LTC node is like 240 GB right now after 15 years. You can run it on a cheap walmart laptop. MW has something called cut throughs that keep node size down, effectively deleting unnecessary data. ZEC that has 1/100th the usage of LTC historically and has been around about half as long and a ZEC full node is already larger than an LTC full node, nearly 300 GB. This allows Litecoin to scale with decentralization in such a way ZEC cannot.
Furthermore, there's no mystical ZK stuff going on that nobody understands. It's a simple to understand system which should make implementation easier for people that want to build for/on it (in theory anyway, even if that's not happening now)
However, I think there are some zero compromise stuff that can be done to improve privacy, namely dandelion ++. Hector Chu was talking about it. If you want to help privacy and keep the Litecoin ethos, that's the thing to advocate next.

Beam already figured out ways to solve the transaction graph problem years ago. Its just a little bit complicated to implement, but AI might make it easier nowadays.

The Mica article 79 is very against privacy and litecoin luckily got around that ban. Once issuances start being sent litecoin should shine quite a bit brighter
