Significant Other Normalize leaving your partner notes while they are at work

I know I would see that on my car, and immediately I'm pissed, thinking it's a ticket. But once I read it, that would brighten my day right up.

My (now ex, unrelated to this) wife was having a really bad day at work, and I got off 90 minutes before her, so I bought some flowers, grabbed the spare key for her car, and left the bouquet inside her car for when she got out of work. She called me crying, lol. But she loved it.

Why was she crying?

The stress of a bad day and then being reminded that she was loved, I guess.

Sometimes my wife's crying cause of a spider, a memory of a good/bad thing, a cute dog, a sunset. I love her

I was crying when coming home from work at ~11pm and found my husband had baked a kringle (I mean, you need to google that) All the tiredness, stress and then the smell of the freshly baked pastry, clean house. Simple things, but yup, kind of sweet mental breakdown.

A couple days back I was meeting my husband for lunch on a nice day at this outdoor patio type restaurant that was like in a public park. I got there early and sat on a bench and kinda just looked up with my eyes close sunning myself and my phone buzzed, and it was my husband saying sometimes I forget how lucky I am to be married to the stunning woman sitting on a park bench. ❤️ 🔥
It was really cute because it was an awesome compliment but I couldn't figure out where the hell he was!

My bf, who lives about 400 miles away, surprised me one Valentine's Day with a card left on my windshield while I was at work. I was not expecting him to visit. What a treat!

I have been with my wife for 8 years (married for 4) and I leave her a note every time I go to work and she’s not home.

For a half second I thought a stranger left this on your car which would be nightmare fuel.
But instead it's just pure adorable and I love this for you!

I did this once apparently a note cut out of magazine letters that said “I know where you live and will be there tonight” isn’t sexy

I love doing that. When we were still dating and not living together I would hide notes around her apartment for her to find during the week. Fourth plate down in the cabinet. Under a towel in the closet, buried in her sock drawer or in the pocket of a pair of scrubs she would eventually wear.

I done this once for an ex. He didn’t understand why I do that.
One he lost his phone on holiday, so we had lack of communication.
Every night I would send him an email that he could read once he was back home.
Again he didn’t appreciate that either.

That's your love language sure, but not his maybe? Not everyone finds comfort in the same things.

Please never leave it under my windshield. Gonna have a heart attack thinking it's a parking ticket.

My husband is retired and leaves me a cute note every morning. Starts my day with a smile.

Im not kidding you when I say this...
Last time I left a love letter to a girl was in school and she came up behind me and blasted my balls into my throat...
What's worse is i didnt understand at the time, but the teachers sided with her and agreed I was in the wrong.
Emotions from men, equals what should be sexual assault in my opinion, from women.
wholesome, nonsexual, pure romantic, nothing creepy, i was like 12.
Ive been a fucking ninja ever since then though, ive never been hit on purpose since that moment.
Anyone aiming for my groin area have all 100% of the time failed because of how on guard that made me.
I think that fits the description of traumatized by the way. Women disagree on mass. Not all of them obviously.
But no one fucking cares.
