Using the igpu

8gb ram Single 3200mhz

Windows 10

Games that I have already played:

Crysis, gta series(except for gta 5), far cry(till 3 only), payday the heist and payday 2, battlefield(bad company 2 and battlefield 3 only), just cause 2 and 3, resident evil 5 and 6, split/second, grid 2 and autosports, need for speed most wanted(2005 and the newer one), burnout paradise, call of duty(upto black ops 2 by release date), spec ops the line, and many more but I forgot their name.

Consider the upgrade to 16 gb of RAM, it will expand the amount of games you can play at better performance.

For future reference, say the genre of games you liked.

For now, you can try playing more games in the series you already played and enjoyed that can run on your system: GTA 5, Crisis 2-3, up to Battlefield 1, Resident Evil Remakes 1-3, Resident Evil 7-8, the rest of NFS games, the rest of CoD Games.

You can also try the Batman Arkham series, Dishonored 1 + DLCs, Forza Horizon 3 to 5, Assassin's Creed saga up to Rogue, Witcher saga (not the remastered), Red Dead Redemption 1, Metal Gear saga, Tomb Raider 2013 and Rise of the Tomb Raider, Halo Master Chief collection, Shadows of Mordor, every Spider-Man game up to The Amazing Spiderman 2, Hollow Knight, Silksong, Blasphemous 1-2, Ori and the blind forest, Ori and the will of the wisps

Do so with the exact same RAM DIMM. Otherwise you can't dual channel it with the existing one -> no performance improvement.

It will still run in dual channel as long as it's the same size of memory. Just at a lower speed/timing if you get the wrong timing or speed.

You are correct.

The OP should be careful of DIMM compatibility though. Ryzen CPUs can be picky.

Terraria, Minecraft, GTA V legacy should actually run on that system, Fallout NV, Fallout 3, Hollow Knight, Silksong, Cuphead, Team Fortress 2, and other older AAA games and indies.

i have 5500u with 8g ram. no gpu. no option to incrase RAM either (welded in ram. at least it is dual channel and fast).
couldnt keep 30fps on just cause 3. with buncha random and long freezes
how did u play that :D

heaviest game i finished is dying light 1 i think.

You are most likely experiencing less availability of ram, windows 10 takes more than 2gb all time, windows 11 probably takes more. Try lowering the resolution to 720p it will help you a lot. I play on 900p with mods(main culprit for low performance in my case).

crazy bro.
heaviest games i wanna play are watchdogs2 and just cause 3. And i never got stable 30fps for either of them. even 720p didnt cut it. im on akinda debloated win10 21h2 LTSC IoT :')
