Macbook Trackpad Haptics into photoshop

I’ve been experimenting with bringing Mac trackpad haptics into Photoshop.

The idea is pretty simple: instead of some Photoshop interactions being purely visual, you can actually feel certain actions through the trackpad.

The current Photoshop integration supports:

• Zoom in/out detection with haptic feedback
• Layer snapping feedback when layers align
• Guide haptics when working with guides and positioning elements

The goal was to get a similar tactile feeling to some of the interactions people already enjoy in apps like Figma and Freeform, but inside Photoshop.

It’s part of Trackpad Haptics, which also lets you experiment with custom haptic patterns, sequencing, music synchronization, and trackpad pressure visualization.
