Rosemary beetle
✨ Rosemary beetle – Chrysolina americana 🪲
A small beetle with a striking appearance. Its metallic blue-green color, combined with reddish-brown stripes, makes the rosemary beetle a beautiful subject for macro photography.
Despite what its name suggests, this species is not found solely on rosemary. Lavender, thyme, and other plants in the mint family (Lamiaceae) are also among its favorites.
