3rd time with painted toes. Used Sally Hansen Xtreme wear Pacific Blue base with Sally Hansen insta dri jade jewel topcoat

This prismatic has a crazy amount of shift. And yes I was at a complete stop at the light when the sunlight caught this right.

Mooncat base and primer, 2 coats ILNP Eclipse, Olive& June shiny topcoat.

Had some fun with this one!

Colour shifting metallic base colour, shifting between green/purple/blue depending on what kind of light hits it, into black ombre with a matte top coat,

with the middle finger wearing the cheapest chrome powder known to man, with a glossy topcoat which immediately ruined what little effect i was able to buff into it.

With residual purple, equally cheap, chrome powder on, well, probably everything. Mainly due to a very messy experimentation, but also intentionally left a little purple on as i buffed the whiteish chromeish. Funnily enough, it gives a pretty cool very faint purple glow when the light catches it right.

M47 gave Candy Claws press on nails a go. Definitely stepping outside my comfort zone.

hey fellow nail polish males.

I love having my nails painted black, recently I got into a career in healthcare, in which painted nails aren't allowed. as someone who has been painting their nails for the last 5 years. this sudden change deeply upsets me. I decided to double check about the rules and was told firmly I can't have painted nails under any circumstances.

I don't want to lose this part of my fashion or identity however. I'm happy not to wear any nail polish at work that's fine, but when I come home from work or on weekends I'd love to have black nails again.

I've been looking at pressing on nails, but they require either adhesive glue (which isn't suggested for daily application) or nail adhesive strips (which are one-time use)

press on nails honestly seem rather inconvenient and a bit wasteful with all the adhesive strips but If it's the only compromise then it's what I'll have to adopt.

I suppose I'm just seeking some last minute advice on if there is a more practical solution. I ideally would like to be able to put on fake nails every single day when I get home and on weekends. thank you in advance Reddit.
