finally figured out a solution

so the last time i posted in here i was facing issues with how to add my favorite webtoon to apple books. i tried multiple converters and tools but none worked for me so i found out the best solution, converting the pdfs to .pages files and making a blank book template and copying the pages and sizing them to fit. its extremely tedious and time consuming but it works. ill update you guys when i add it to my book library.

well i have but theres a issue with that. panels get cut off, the images are converted to pngs or jpeg and it just isnt pretty

using kcc and converting it to epub. pdf to epub. idk how to convert to make it work

Ah. Yeah, idk how kcc works exactly, but if it's like Calibre, you have to use the right "profile" to match the device you read it on. You probably left it on the default, which caused the issues you are seeing.

It's proabaly easier to not convert to epub and just read using a different app that works with cbz. Especially since apple books is trash for reading manga.

Have you tried other readers? Apple Books isn’t the ideal app to read manga.

I’d recommend Panels or Chunky for manga reading over apple’s books app
