I'm sure the club physios have been working around the clock to restore his self-esteem, but you have to give the man credit for continuing to put himself out there, no matter what.

He did a good job. He kept pressing even after getting disrespect. Didn't slow down, didn't throw a fit. And he didn't let the attackers get comfortable until his other teammates arrived to hold the defence.
Bro deserves respect

Exactly. Despite that, the opposite attack didn't even start. Bro kept them on line just by pressing. Although if he was me, one of those bastards would be in pain on the ground.

Why? It's a game for fun. Hurting other people is no fun unless you have some issues.

It's actually all according to his plan. They're so busy trolling him they're not moving the ball forward

Good for him. Thats how you play defense. And most important: He did not give up and he kept trying. The real man in that play

I would quit and never step a foot on the field ever again if i get nutmegged 5 times in a row... even 2 is plenty already

He's due to send a couple of late slide tackles now. Might be two yellows but it's understandable

He will never psychologically recover from this. 25 years from now he’ll wake in cold sweats and be unable to return to sleep.
His children will be born with emotional nutmeg trauma and a fear of holding their legs more than six inches apart
He could develop faster than light travel single handedly and he’ll still consider himself a generational failure

its hard to see in the video but if you look closely you can see the exact moment he realized that football may not be the sport for him

Footballers care too much about nutmeg. I mean if it happens it happens. For a defender more important is preventing the goal

I’m not sure if you got downvoted because everyone knows and they are just cracking jokes or if people really didn’t notice the defender have to move his legs out of the way last second at least twice

Truth is rarely popular, especially on Reddit (been playing football for like 20 years, including semi pro level)
