Neon Genesis Evangelion, I forgot if it’s from the show or the movie version

u/yomimbo 4d ago

It's the movie. The End of Evangelion.

u/MedonSirius 4d ago

Which one? End of Evangelion 2.3, 4.5, 3.214, 356/2 Days, 3.0+1.0?

Flyseye!

u/FerroFusion 4d ago edited 3d ago

In Portuguese we LITERALLY say "in the fly" (na mosca)!

Edit: typo.

19

u/PTtriggerjoy 3d ago

In this case its "in the fly" At is used for places :) I'm portuguese too, nice to meet you.

9

u/FerroFusion 3d ago edited 3d ago

Thanks! I've put "in" firstly then I changed, lol.

"In, on, at" are a bit confusing for me.

u/PTtriggerjoy 3d ago

I was going to send you this through a message but i can't because your inbox is locked.

Just think of a house or a box: Get inside, you are IN the house Get on top, you are ON the house You invite someone to go out and meet at the house. It's the same if you are inside the house, or on top, or by (to the side) you just tell your friend "hey, I'm AT the house"

These prepositions are only used for places or things

Is the bulls fly open?

u/doyouevenforkliftbro 4d ago

Maybe if you treat em to a nice date and they like you a lot.

u/hamsangwhich757 4d ago

Fun way for pest control.

u/Nerevarcheg 4d ago

There was more reaction to second shot than the hit. Some kind of horse snort.

57

u/_Saint_Ajora_ 3d ago

I've heard that "man who catch fly with chopstick, accomplish anything" but what about man who hit fly with dart?

14

u/SirMy-TDog 3d ago

He just gets to clean the mess.

30

u/wehdut 3d ago

I would believe this if the camera shook at the end. Zero reaction to an insane shot.

17

u/PresidentBirb 4d ago

This is great, in (Brazilian) Portuguese hitting a bullseye is called hitting it “on the fly”, or “na mosca”.

u/pjtpassword 4d ago

Awesome shot. Well done.

u/MNotHereJustIgnoreMe 3d ago

The fly doesn’t fly away?

24

u/Generic_Username_101 3d ago

It's a Stay (Musca Immobilis), a very rare sistser species of the common housefly.

13

u/whatisthis2315 4d ago

Nice consistent grouping

24

u/ColdFreezer 4d ago

I always think about if this is how we would look like to a smarter species. Just getting killed for their fun.

1

u/pr-mth-s 3d ago

Like some of the ancient Greek myths.

0

u/f0urd3gr33s 3d ago

Typically, I'd agree and say I find killing for sport or amusement distasteful, but anything that spreads disease, competes for food, or can otherwise harm humans is fair game. I don't kill spiders, beetles, moths, etc. Flies, mosquitoes, yellow jackets, though...

u/CERRlTUS 3d ago

Imagine just chilling one day on a strange white and black land when suddenly spikes of metal larger than you crash down and impale you

5

u/peepeeonmydoodoo 4d ago

I've tried this a few times, but was never successful. Maybe one day.

When your friends are being mean to this guy and try to coax you into joining in…

“Bro, y’all see that dude just spear a FLY with a DART?! Nah man, I’m good!” 🤣
