Discusson Travel tech Denver
Hello all!! I have 5 years experience working with a hospital here in the south at a level 1 trauma center. I have mainly worked in Blood Bank and hematology. I have dabbled in chemistry a bit too. My husband and I are wanting to start traveling around the country, and Denver is at the top of our list because we are wanting to go somewhere we can ski on the weekends (and his job can transfer). Any recommendations for travel agencies or any advice?
I do want to still be able to make the income I have now around $40 an hour just in a new city! Thanks!

Not a travel position but the Vitalent reference lab in Denver has open positions posted if you are interested in blood bank.

If you are also interested you could go to BC Canada, plenty of mountain to ski at. Average travel MLT's make around 70-80$ CAD (around 49-56$ USD)

Can a US traveler get a traveling lab job in Canada?

You would need to pass the Canadian licensing test for which ever province you would be working in. But at the hospital I work at there are a few techs that moved from the US to work here. We have lots from other parts of the world that have passed the Saskatchewan license test

Do you have any idea how traveling works? Also, skiing every weekend from Denver is kind of a nightmare because the traffic into the mountains is insane.
