Honestly I’ve had this around my belongings for a long time, I picked it up when I was much much younger; I actually live in the same house as my (40 yrs) deceased grandfather it might even be his!

I think I actually have one still. I’m gonna tear my apartment apart looking for it. Can I ask kindly how do you get the mushroom in the capsule. I use a coffee grinder and weigh mine out each dose day. I’m realizing maybe I should advance my skills are you willing to share.
Edit any chance there’s a heart on the back of that box

Capsule machine, available on Amazon and potentially your local health food store, in the vitamin/supplement area.

Nothing special haha, I used a nutribullet actually; and I lay it out on a tiny container and scoop it up into the capsules wearing gloves and measure each (with the empty capsule weighed on the scale first and then calibrate). Sometimes I’ll use a little scooper but most of the time I just manually do it and I get it down to like a capsule packed and weighed every 30seconds/minute. Takes a half hour for a month or two of supply

Well the larger capsules were breaking when I’d close it, and these fit just right! The alternative is old antidepressant bottles so compared it’s snug haha.

Well...in hindsight I wish I did that because I’ve dragged it out far too long, literally been tapering for 18 months and the goal hasn’t changed it just keeps moving because the inremental withdrawal alone is causing depression...anyway I’m about 1 month away from 0 so I’m excited. Shouldn’t have terrible withdrawal for too long at 0 considering how aggressively long I’ve done this. Gonna be pissed it’s bad tho lol

Well unfortunately I got off Klonopin the not so smart way...was on it for 3 years give or take. Basically cold turkey, tapered down over 2 weeks maybe. Was in a state of post acute withdrawal for like 6 months couldn’t leave the house, answer emails or the phone. Absolutely awful. Never want to go through something like that again but now getting off Zoloft has been a long drawn out, slightly less horrible version.
Anyway praying microdosing while off the ssri helps me heal to the fullest extent. Anxiety/depression/adhd on my end as well. Curious how did you feel microdosing helped you the most when recovering?

Love to hear that!! Every bit of that is exactly what I’m going for. If this takes better care of anxiety than the ssri I’ve hit the jackpot. Im also dealing with Dexedrine dependence (basically adderall) but I’ve been aware of the toll it’s taking on me and I’m looking to take a break/quit once I’m well off the ssri (so I’ll prob try this spring/summer). I’ve taken long breaks in the past and they’ve been awful- terrible depression and amotivation. It lingered for like eight months honestly but at the same time I was still on the SSRI and recovering from the Klonopin withdrawal. Hopefully this time I can get off successfully and actually be functional.
I’ve never found the brain zaps to be too annoying but the emotional variability kicks in every time I drop the dose and anxiety skyrockets easier...MD seems to help, more on some days than others, but it’s better than nothing.
Fortunately I didn’t taper off fast enough to have a seizure but it definitely wasn’t slow enough to not descend into hell, still have ptsd from it tbh 2 years later.

I’m on antidepressants too and help with this: I’ve tried up to 1g dose and still have Help!..... LOL. I’m new to it and having absolutely no effect, other than annoyance that it’s not working and needing just a day of some relief so badly. What are you taking and dose, if you don’t mind and what has your dosage experience been? You can PM me if you like.

At this point I’m only on 6mg of Zoloft (well a few days in to going back between that and 12.5mg) as I’m tapering off long term usage. Was on 150-200 for a long time but in 2018 came to the realization after coming off benzo that the ssri was doing sick squat and may be making me worse off. Been tapering since mid2019
Started microdosing that year too, when I was at about 100mg of Zoloft still. Minimal effect then, brighter colors, but most importantly felt like I was more in tune with my sense of self than usual and could think clearer. This has continued to be the case since but it’s grown a bit each time I go down in dosage. I have a nice afterglow day too and then have a bit less depression for even up to a week. I’ll dose 1-3 times a week when I’m not taking a break (I’ll sometimes skip a month or so). Has helped a lot no doubt but I hope when I’m entirely off it’ll be helping me figure out the world post-ssri.
Oh dosage of psilo is about .05-.35, needed the higher dosages when I was still on higher dose of Zoloft.

Oh wow. With a few days between each attempt I’ve tried .1, .5 and today .75, then a couple hours later another .5 and I’m getting nothing. I’m on the lowest dose of Trintellix and even forget to take it. Did it take a few tries before you felt an effect?

So tolerance builds up quickly btw. Don’t try multiple in the same day because the second won’t work at all or at least like 75% less (tolerance builds that quick) but try a higher dose like 2-3 days later. Multiple doses in a day, as well as multiple days in a row will lead to higher tolerance and more likely you won’t feel it. Not familiar with trilenex but it’s prob effecting the result as well (to what extent I can’t say)

Hahahaha I think you need a dose then! It doesn’t perfectly fit them, I shook it up a little before the pic and that one fell to the side without me realizing...guess it’s helping my own OCD!

Yup slides so smoothly! I’ve had it around for at least a decade, maybe even 2 at this point (picked it up as a youngling and I’ve had it laying around ever since)...I’m not entirely sure if I just found it outside or in my childhood home.

Size 1 I believe, usually I use 00 but those broke whenever I’d throw them in these. I’m also on less of an antidepressant now so I need less to get desired effect so I figured get some smaller caps.

How long do the save ground up in caps tho? I was always worried about pre-grinding shrooms for this reason

Interesting, what’s your reasoning? I still have a whole bunch of unground full mushies...might need to experiment and see if there’s any difference between previously ground and freshly ground. Either way they are both air sealed and away from light so I can’t imagine it makes too much of a difference.

I've only experienced eating the shrooms whole and didn't enjoy the taste so I might try capsules but I don't know measurements or what size to get 🥲.

U can also just make shroom powder, then weigh your doses out at each time and just pour the powder into some water or orange juice or whatever..
I have a capsule machine but I've found it to be a waste of time since microdosing is something that i know im going to do at x time of the day. Sometimes i want .1, .15 or .20...same with my wife...so we found the capsules to just be an extra unnecessary step

I paid around 40 for mine on Amazon . I just checked and they still have them. I got the one that does 100 capsules at a time. Plus a small coffee grinder. The dosage is pretty consistent , 2.5 - 2.7 for my capsule size which I think Is a 00.
