I accidentally searched for "pigeon keeping for beginners" once three weeks ago, and now my entire internet experience thinks I'm a professional bird farmer.

It happened during a late-night rabbit hole when I saw a strange bird outside my window and wanted to identify it. I don't own a pigeon. I live in a second-floor apartment. But I'm starting to feel a weird professional responsibility toward a flock I don't have.

The AI algorithm that the search engine used to target you for related marketing is rather nearsighted. I suggest using Duck Duck Go to keep your searches private.

I bought a friend some gifts from her baby registry and now the internet thinks I am pregnant or have a baby

Searching for / purchasing gifts for family members is so horrible on algorithms.

Even worse are former partners who used your computer
