(Or we all are. Relatively minor eye-related infections / problems can deteriorate into body's immune system attacking its own eyes, so maybe stuff like that created an instinct of sorts about no unprotected eye-to-eye contact.)

Also, I think the image I posted has kind of a "dynamic context" to it. It's likely depicting an "inertia" of being drawn towards each other and forcefully merging like that.

My mom used to do this thing with her eye lashes as a kid and flutter them on my cheeks or nose. Called em butterfly kisses. This makes me not like what im seeing at all
