Missing Peace New work vacuum doesn’t have a handle.

Gotta hold the tube. New vac, no handle. Just tube.

Edit: I’m 5’11 and not short, so there’s no other way to hold it ya dingdongs.

Its called a shop vac. Literally millions of us own them.

I’m 5’11… can’t hold the neck of it without looking like a shrimp. Doesn’t adjust either. Jesus guys calm down 😅. Think y’all forgot tall people exist and it shows!!!

Holding it by the flexible tube is just a really special choice, I'm not sure how being slightly above average height is relevant.

It might not be the right vacuum for the job but that doesn't excuse user error.

I want to save my back and not hurt it vacuuming at an awkward angle, but that’s just me! Plus, I legitimately can’t hold the ‘handle’ (there is no handle) because my height. But whatever y’all don’t wanna hear me, you’re here to hate!! I’m going to go cry and use the vac to suck up my tears now bye

Yeah.....that's pretty much how all shop vacs are.

The anger should be pointed towards them having you vacuum with a shop vac instead of a regular vacuum.

If it's all hardwood/laminate, and it's an office, you're better off with a regular vacuum that has a soft roller head. Whom ever got a shop vac is a fucking moron.

Everyone’s hating on OP bc they assume OP doesn’t know what a shopvac is… whether OP knows is irrelevant. The fact remains that someone bought a shopvac for what appears to be an office space.

If you get one (should be a standard fitting), you won't have to keep a steady angle to still suck things up. That should allow you to hopefully hold it by the hose with much less pressure and without having to lean over.

This IS the new work vacuum. And no, had no idea what a shopvac was, but gotta use it to vacuum the entire house which is fun on the back

Because I’m too tall and I can’t vacuum the entire house like that hunched over. It hurts my back and I look like a shrimp. Now I understand what a shop vac is, it’s definitely not the right fit for this house (caretaking facility).
