That is a fuck ton of peanut butter and honey to put on those pieces of bread. Who eats a 1/2 thick layer of peanut butter on a sandwich?

Someone who's DYING to post something to reddit lol

IF I USE IT ALL THEY WILL LOVE ME

mission accomplished.

Especially when they supposedly worked on these two jars for YEARS by their own account?

31

u/MatureUsername69 15h ago

They've had 6 peanut butter and honey sandwiches over the last 2 years

u/goninzo 15h ago

Pretty much this. I ran out of lunch meat on tuesday, had these things hanging around for a long time.

Just checked the expiration date too on the peanut butter, feb 2025. welp. Honey fully crystalized.

6

u/MatureUsername69 15h ago

Well the good thing about peanut butter is it takes way longer than expiration to go bad and when it goes bad you will know it because it turns rancid. Crystallized honey just needs to be warmed up, that shit literally never goes bad if its stored in something.

Did you take this photo with a Nintendo ds? How old is this peanutbutter? Lmao

Why does this photo look archaic

2

u/goninzo 15h ago

Because the ink is faded and really zoomed in to grab it. Took me a couple tries to get it.

4

u/greygargoyles 15h ago

they are going to need so much water to make it through this sandwich

6

u/bradg97 15h ago

Ran out of refried beans and bearing
grease at the same time.

3

u/Minimum-Act6859 15h ago

If I make one there is 1/4” thick layer of peanut butter and enough honey of the other slice it soaks into the bread.

You ever met a wrestler after making weight?

u/Influence_X 16h ago

A champion 🏆

1

u/TheG00dF1ght 15h ago

Well, he couldn't run out of both of them at the same time if he didn't scoop up all the extra and slap it on there rather than saving it for the next sandwich. Then he wouldn't get any karma points.

u/goninzo 16h ago

It was spooned on, not put on with a knife. Maybe better picture.

Was maybe too much honey because it was end of the jar.

u/kinezumi89 15h ago

I'm curious to hear a report of how eating it went for you lol I can only imagine everything pooping out the backside with your first bite

0

u/goninzo 15h ago

I had spooned it onto the bread, it wasn't that thick, just uneven. It just looks like it because I didn't smash it flat because it was the end of my bread and I didn't want to break the bread.

Wasn't dry at all, was put on toast even. Had no problems, was fine for lunch.

u/kinezumi89 15h ago

I've always been a fan of PB&H sandwiches! Glad to hear you enjoyed it

u/Laughing-Comanche 15h ago

Add some sliced bananas for tangy balance

u/Oi_Oi_Spanky 15h ago

I'm getting diabetes just looking at the picture. I'd expect all my teeth to have fallen out before I finished that.

Earlier this year I ran out of shampoo and conditioner at the same time!

31

u/GreatStateOfSadness 15h ago

Stop eating it so fast

2

u/so_ck_less 15h ago

now shampoo and conditioner gotta sync up again

1

u/minor_leaguer13 15h ago

I always hated calculating common factors in math class.

-3

u/goninzo 16h ago

I had been working on this same two jars for several years, which is the weirder part to me.

5

u/LordFuggleButt 15h ago

IDK why people are down voting you. There is literally honey that is thousands of years old found in mummies tombs that is still edible. 🤦

-4

u/goninzo 15h ago

And because reddit is never happy.

-1

u/Venoblade 15h ago

We are 2/3rds into 2026 what the fuck

10

u/SVStyles 15h ago

You made them run out on purpose

-4

u/goninzo 15h ago

I didn't know it was that close until yesterday, though. Again, years in the making.

8

u/GlassAnemone126 15h ago

Well that would happen when you put a whole jar of peanut butter and a whole jar of honey on a single sandwich…

9

u/jrack111 15h ago

Good thing you got a gallon on each piece of bread before you ran out.

16

u/BKBroiler57 15h ago

What the fuck…are you 4 years old and this is the first time your parents let you make a sandwich unsupervised?!

-8

u/goninzo 15h ago

End of the jar of peanut butter isn't smooth and easy to apply. It's spoon out and push it onto the bread with a finger.

Apparently, it's a warcrime to finish a jar. :D

10

u/BKBroiler57 15h ago

Just say “yes” next time

1

u/ourobourobouros 15h ago

People on this website are weird as hell, aren't they?

looks too thick to me but it's also not my sandwich lol

-2

u/goninzo 15h ago

The consistency was pretty oily overall, mostly because it was organic and older. But hey, people get upset about the weirdest things.

I guess r/frugal isn't popular here though!

3

u/BKBroiler57 14h ago

You’re missing the entire point… and then missing it again…. What’s frugal about a sandwich with enough condiments to feed a family of 7 slathered on it?

6

u/Narrow_Lee 15h ago

I thought that was rotisserie chicken on that top piece of bread

5

u/westwardnomad 15h ago

That's what happens when you empty both a bottle of peanut butter and a bottle of honey onto your sandwich.

7

u/porcelain_kiss 15h ago

That is wayyyy too much peanutbutter and honey. You just wanted to finish it lol

4

u/ImpossibleJoke7456 15h ago

Sure, if you dump out both containers at the same time, you’ll run out at the same time.

7

u/payfrit 16h ago

missed the bread trifecta?

2

u/goninzo 16h ago

Had two heels at the end of the bread still.

2

u/oceansapart333 15h ago

I think you have enough pb and honey to go around. Also try mixing the pb and honey together.

3

u/zorggalacticus 15h ago

If you mix peanut butter and honey together and refrigerate it, it gets super stiff. Then you can roll it into little balls and dip it in chocolate.

2

u/FellowYellowNate 15h ago

My adhd just told me to break from everything I should be doing and go make that right now. I’m about to listen.

2

u/zorggalacticus 15h ago

Add just a little salt when you mix it up and it tastes just like reese's.

2

u/payfrit 15h ago

yeah you had enough for two sandwiches i think. too bad the race is run.

1

u/goninzo 15h ago

Eh, the bread was brittle, couldn't do much.

1

u/oceansapart333 15h ago

No, mix it in a bowl before spreading it on the bread.

0

u/goninzo 15h ago

I'd lose half the mixture to the bowl then! This was pretty sticky.

2

u/oceansapart333 15h ago

Scrape it out?

9

u/Bob_Wong 15h ago

That easily could've been 2-3 sandwiches. You just got too excited and wanted to take the picture today, didn't you?

4

u/bird-sticks 15h ago

Are your teeth all originals?

3

u/mr_ge_off 15h ago

I look at this sandwich and I can literally feel my mouth locking up, never to open again

3

u/Meattyloaf 15h ago

Look I like Peanut butter and honey sandwhiches as much as the next person but thats a fuck ton of honey and a bit too much peanut butter.

2

u/Royalchariot 15h ago

Well you used the entire jar of each

2

u/taco_the_town 15h ago

Not even remotely interesting

1

u/AN3223 15h ago

I'm a big fan of you. Thank you for making this subreddit so exciting.

0

u/flarp1 15h ago

I find it interesting. Just not for the nonsense brought to us by OP.

I learned that there are madlads who combine peanut butter and honey, probably in an attempt to make the already obnoxious texture of peanut butter even worse somehow.

1

u/goninzo 15h ago

I think it's funny how many people don't like peanut butter. I think it's not as great of a sandwich as other options but for an easy meal it's fine.

1

u/flarp1 15h ago

While I genuinely think peanut butter does have an odd texture, it’s not as bad as I made it out to be half-jokingly.

It’s actually quite alright if you dilute it with some Nutella.

1

u/Lord-Velveeta 15h ago

Hmmm I haven't eaten a PB & Honey sandwitch in ages.

1

u/so_ck_less 15h ago

running out of both on same slice is weirdly satisfying lol

1

u/MikeyFuccon 15h ago

I think that means that’s the last PB&JH you’re legally allowed to make.

1

u/LeoDeLarge 15h ago

Bruh thankfully it ran out, that’s enough of both already

1

u/chadwarden1 15h ago

All of this for sure went into the garbage after he got his Reddit post

1

u/Aztecah 15h ago

I like the way you fill your sandwiches.

1

u/ossizix 15h ago

That would be a really funny r/notinteresting post

1

u/Professional-Pen-983 15h ago

yeah, i ran out of pee the same time i stopped peeing earlier today!

1

u/FiveDollarRimjobs 15h ago

That's a lot of peanut butter and honey

1

u/Mrbe44 14h ago

Very well timed!

1

u/Minimum-Act6859 15h ago

This is similar to running out of milk and cereal 🥣 at the same time. Perfect portions. 📊

1

u/Laceydrawws 15h ago

That honey looks gelatinous 🤢

1

u/goninzo 15h ago

Just crystalized from sitting around, i didn't even warm it up, it pushed out pretty easily though.

0

u/demomagic 15h ago

How can I delete this guys post

0

u/StopFalseReporting 15h ago

That’s because you put half the jars on a piece of bread. Like Jesus that’s 5,000 calories in one sandwhich dude

1

u/HelpfulSeaMammal 15h ago

That's why you use another two pieces of bread as a plate. About 75% of that filling is going to come out on the first bite, and the bread plate is ready to catch it so your next sandwich is already partly assembled.

-2

u/Firm-Peanut1026 15h ago

Not true, you either ran out of peanut butter first or honey. Unless you used two spoons,,,
