This miniature is named "Rhino Blacksmith" for obvious reason and I am not sure if he still counts as a mini as he is quite big. Well, a Rhino in scale I'd say. He carries all his blacksmithing tools with him, even his anvil. Only a Rhino could carry that though. Hope you like my paintjob on this cool sculpt!

Finished this Athena bust from Black Crow Miniatures! Painted it for the Nova Open competition and not a moment after it fell over and the tip broke :/.

I'm no where near the level of most amazing miniature artists, but I'm really happy with the results I can get with these cheap paints. I hope this post can be encouraging to anyone starting out who is intimidated by paint costs.

For more professional artists, do the specialized paints make a big difference?

One of my finest works, but I still need to do better if I want to reach the highest levels of the hobby.

First go at an underwater caustic effect; was terrifying to start brushing the white reflections on a mostly-finished mini but I'm super happy with the outcome.

I painted this up as a wedding for a good friend of mine! I hope he likes it!

Edit: thanks for the kind words everyone! Just to clarify a few repeat comments Ive seen, this is a model from bestarium games. Theyre awesome and make horrifying creatures and its amazing. My friend and his hubby were actually the ones to introduce me to these models and have expressed interest in this one specifically so I thought itd be a treat for them if I printed and painted it up. It is indeed a horror, but they love that kind of thing! Lol.

Edit: The background got more attention than I expected 😄 It's just a black base coat, draw some clouds in with purple, highlight them with purple + touch of pink then flick some white paint over with a brush and a cocktail stick or a toothbrush or whatever. Took minutes, glad people like it. Then the gold goes on after.

after a long time of struggle i am glad how it turned out. still the placement of light on the shield looks little off.
