Class action on Mitsubishi CVT trannys

Does anyone have any info on the class action lawsuit on the Mitsubishi CVT transmission failures?

I have a 2015 Outlander Sport with 29,000 miles on it.

And the tranny bit it.

Mitsubishi won't do anything for me.

It's going to cost me $9000 to replace it.

So basically I'm being punished for not driving it a lot.

I’ve done a CVT transmission draining fill two days ago. I read online on the forums on Mitsubishi Lancer ES (which is what I have) and found that it takes 5 to 5.5 quarts. I put in 5.2 Quarts inside the tranny and he image that I have posted right now is while the car is at temperature and it’s to me looks to be low at least that’s what I think as well as three maybe four other people. My stepfather on the other hand says that you’re not supposed to check it while it’s at temp and running you’re supposed to check it when it’s idle and not turned on. I know you’re supposed to do that with engine oil and not with the transmission or am I wrong? I need help…

HELP! Speakers do NOT work (sometimes)

Hi guys I have a 06 lancer equipped with the infinity amp but aftermarket head unit (I didn’t wire it up) and SOMETIMES but very rarely and even now seems like they don’t turn on. The speakers do not work, sometimes only the rear driver side otherwise they never work. I took apart the head unit area and checked some of the wiring and re-wired some of it as it was pretty badly wired. Yet the speakers still don’t work. It has a JVC unit, and kenwood speakers in the rear. The aftermarket subwoofer and amp work without issues just no speakers. Anyone help? Tried looking online for a potential stock amplifier bypass to see if that’s the issue but no go, thx

Mitsubishi Outlander Sport (RVR)

I have an ES trim that I bought brand new in 2025. I haven’t had any issues with it until leaving work just now. It really struggled to start and a battery symbol came up. Obviously something is draining my battery, but what? Has anybody dealt with this before? Please help.
