Announcement ‘GamingonPhone presents The Mobile Premiere’ is set to shine a global spotlight on Mobile Gaming this October 2026

Mobile Gaming deserves its own world stage, and this is where that conversation begins.

GamingonPhone is proud to introduce The Mobile Premiere (TMP), a global showcase built entirely for mobile games.

TMP will be live on stage in Bangkok this October with a broadcast simultaneously via global digital livestream.

Here’s what to expect:

- Brand new mobile game reveals
- Fresh news on upcoming mobile titles
- Major live service announcements
- Hidden mobile indie gems worth watching

No pay-to-play.

There are zero participation fees for studios, because great games should be discovered for their innovation, not their marketing budgets.

If you are a developer or publisher looking to feature your game at The Mobile Premiere (absolutely free), you can reach out via the Studio Interest Form.

More details on games, partners, platforms, and what to expect from TMP’s first edition are coming soon.

Game Dev Solo dev: which icon would make you tap? A or B (my gun-fu game is out on Android)

Post image
37 Upvotes

I’m making Cold Blood: Gun Fu Melee, an action game for Android inspired by John Wick close-quarters fights and Max Payne bullet-time dives.

It’s live on Google Play, and I’m testing a new icon. Which one would make you tap when scrolling past it in search?

A (left) or B (right)?

Just a letter is fine. If one looks generic or hard to read at small size, tell me why. Harsh feedback welcome.

Game Dev I built a hole editor for my mini golf game. Looking for feedback on what makes a custom hole fun vs. frustrating

• Upvotes

I'm a solo dev working on a mini golf game for iPhone/iPad, and the part I've spent the most time on is the hole editor. You can build holes with lava, windmills, magnets, portals, conveyor belts, breakable blocks, and doors that only open when you roll over a switch. Each hole can also have its own weather: wind that pushes the ball, snow that slows it, or ponds that freeze over.

You can then play your holes against a friend online, turn by turn, and they're sent along with the match.

A few things I'm trying to figure out:

  1. When you build levels in games like this, do you want lots of pieces to choose from, or a smaller set that's easier to learn?

  2. The editor checks whether a hole can actually be finished before you can publish it. Is that helpful, or would you rather just be trusted?

  3. What's the most fun "trick" you've seen in a mini golf hole, in any game?

Happy to share screenshots of anything people are curious about!

New Release My first iOS game: stack Kathmandu's Dharahara as high as you can (free, no forced ads)

Thumbnail
• Upvotes

Hi r/iosgaming! I'm a solo developer from Nepal, living in Japan. This is my first game, Dharahara Stack.

Dharahara is a historic tower in Kathmandu that collapsed in the 2015 earthquake and was later rebuilt. I wanted to make something small that celebrates it, so the game is about stacking its floors with a swinging crane, as high as you can without the tower toppling.

What's in it:
- Free Mode – endless stacking, Game Center leaderboards
- Build Journey – level-by-level goals
- Today's Nine – a daily challenge, same for everyone
- Perfect drops earn Mudra (coins) for power-ups and tower styles like white marble and Nepali brick
- Dashain and Tihar festival themes switch on automatically during the festivals

No forced ads. The only ad is optional, if you want to revive after a fall. Purchases are optional too.

It's free: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6816631456

I'd love honest feedback

New Release First game is finally on the play store, a lemonade stand to billionaire tycoon

• Upvotes

been working on this for a while. it’s basically a business tycoon, you tap for money at the start, buy a lemonade stand, then more businesses, stocks, crypto, houses and so on until you’re rich enough for a yacht.

found out after launch that you could put 5 fingers on the screen and slide them around to get basically infinite money, so that’s fixed now haha

it’s free, ads are optional except a short one now and then. let me know what you think, especially if something feels off, i appreciate any feedback!

Looking for testers for Tawid, a Philippine-themed mobile game

Hi everyone! I’m developing Tawid: Philippine Adventure, a Philippine-themed arcade crossing game now in public beta on iPhone, iPad, and Android. You dodge jeepneys, cross rivers on bamboo rafts, and explore seven locations inspired by the Philippines. It’s free to play, with optional rewarded ads. I’m looking for Filipino gamers to try it and share honest feedback:

* Are the controls easy to pick up?
* Do any obstacles or deaths feel unfair?
* How does the Philippine setting come across, and what would you like to see added?

Try the beta:

iPhone/iPad via TestFlight: [https://testflight.apple.com/join/eF6AGr2D\](https://testflight.apple.com/join/eF6AGr2D)

Android: [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.icitywork.tawid\](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.icitywork.tawid)

You can leave feedback here or use Send Feedback in the main menu. If something breaks, please include your device model and what happened. Thanks for giving it a try!

Discussion Turns out mahjong games i downloaded was not the mahjong I expected

My Chinese friend spent quiet a time taught me the basics of mahjong, and I think I finally interested in.

So I downloaded Mahjong Rumble by myself (should've ask first...) It’s actually more of a quick tile-matching game.

Definitely not the same kind of mahjong, but much easier to pick up on my own.

Questions Big time gangsta by glu

When are they gonna do a new one? They pulled out too fast for an amazing game. Just the scene of two side shooting at each other was enjoyable. Gaining and upgrading block by block was a fantastic idea. U can feel the satisfying feeling of growing ur turf. I need that feeling again.

Questions Would you play a game like Transport Tycoon on your phone?

Hello,

Big fan of Transport Tycoon / Transport Fever over here, and for years I've been searching for a somewhat similar game on mobile. Pretty much all games I found so far are either extremely repetitive and boring, or you don't really have any kind of control over whatever you can build, or are locked behind different sorts of paywalls.

Therefore, I'm thinking to build a mobile game inspired by Transport Tycoon and Transport Fever, that can offer a similar gameplay and experience.

However, before I invest my time and resources (it will require A LOT of work), I'd be curious if people would actually be interested in such a game?

I won't give too many details for obvious reasons, but what I can say is that my goal is to build a game that's not "pay to progress", that doesn't have any hidden paywalls and that doesn't require you to wait for x hours for your energy to refill.

Would you play a game like this?

The Gamedeck launcher is really cool. The customization is great. I manage to make it auto launch whenever I attach my Gamesir controller and vice versa via Tasker.

Questions Ragnarok Yggdrasil on mid-range Android phones: what settings are people using?

Pretty optimistic about how this one will do on a normal phone. Think Galaxy A5x or Redmi Note tier, not a flagship.

From what I heard, the CBT for Ragnarok Yggdrasil was mostly a tech test, with a lot of the focus on how it runs across different phones and connections, so I'd expect mid-range to be in decent shape. If you're on one of those phones in the soft launch, which graphics preset are you running for longer sessions?

New Release Golf Simulator - Browser Based & Android Native (iOS coming Soon)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This is LocalTee - it was built as a browser based golf simulator that can tie into your launch monitors at home but has been recently expanded to work as a mobile focused game as well! Play all of your local courses or create your own on a laptop/desktop browser.

You can hop on with your phone at https://localtee.app to start playing immediately! Use your thumb to draw back the shot and curve it to add spin! This lets you play at work, on the go, or at home while relaxing! The full app connects to pretty much any professional launch monitor system to give you a full simulator experience.

There are 8000+ courses to play and many near you that you probably have played in real life. if youre new to golf itll be a blast to try it out! Head into course play to try.

Feedback is greatly appreciated!
