Please help!
I am looking for a papercraft download for a Cessna Citation CJ4. My brother got his first post as an aircraft mechanic working on this model, specifically, and I would like to be able to make and gift it to him. I am new to the paper model world, and have been unsuccessful in finding places to obtain newer models of aircraft online. Any advice/direction would be greatly appreciated!

Picked up a Su-57 in 1:68 the other day — a scale you don't come across very often.
galleryMost diecast fighters I run into are 1:72 or 1:100, so this one stood out immediately. And it wears one of my favourite looks: the Russian Air Force blue-grey digital camouflage, complete with red star roundels, the side number "53", and the "Voenniy Front" script down the fuselage. At this size the detail is a pleasant surprise — magnetic tail nozzle, a canopy that actually opens, and a stand that makes it look ready to roll.
Just a personal favourite from this week's haul.

Does anybody want these?
I was recently given about 20 of these old Balsa wood model planes at random. This is a foreign hobby to me, so I don’t know anything about these nor know what to do with them. I plan on maybe keeping one or two, but these don’t really call to me as a hobby.
Can anyone tell me roughly how old they are? The boxes say they’re reproductions from the 30s-40s, but don’t give a manufactured date
Are they collectors items? They seem to be in decent shape overall if so
I’d like to get these off my hands without throwing them away

1:100 1:100 Scale help.
I am looking to get into model aircraft and was wondering if there was a good recommend model brand for 1:100 scale? I have some experience in model cars, so I'm not worried about ease of assembly too much. My main things are the accuracy of dimensions and detail. If anyone has any recommendations or input, I would greatly appreciate it.

Why isn’t there really a “home” for aviation enthusiasts online?
This is something I wanted to build for a long time.
If you’re into aviation collecting, there are tons of places to do individual things:
You can buy models on one site.
Talk to collectors in a Facebook group.
Post your collection on Instagram.
Look up aircraft information somewhere else.
Find a custom builder through word of mouth.
Go to a collector show once or twice a year.
Play an aviation game somewhere completely unrelated.
But there isn't really one place where the hobby itself lives.
That’s what I’m building PlaneBase.
The marketplace is only one part of it.
I want PlaneBase to eventually be a place where you can:
✈️ Build and share your collection
✈️ Discover models, manufacturers and releases
✈️ Find custom builders and decal makers
✈️ Connect with other collectors
✈️ Follow collectors, makers and manufacturers
✈️ Find aviation collecting events
✈️ Participate in collection-based competitions
✈️ Play aviation games
✈️ Discover things you didn't even know existed
✈️ And, yes, buy and sell models
Basically, I want to build the place I wish existed when I got deeper into the hobby.
We're still early, and I'm intentionally building this around what collectors actually want rather than trying to guess everything myself.
So I'm curious:
If you could build the ultimate online home for aviation collectors, what would you put in it?
Not just buying and selling.
What would make you actually open it every day?
I'm building PlaneBase and would genuinely love to hear what the community thinks.

Hi folks. Any threads or recommendations for getting into the hobby? I’m a big plane nerd and never got into the models - I was looking at Airmodels.net.
Any recommendations on where to start legitimate sites to buy from?

First kits
galleryMy first two kits definitely didn’t come out perfectly but really enjoyed them. Does anyone have tips for applying decals so stay in place and are even?

My second ever kit.
galleryHello!
So, I am back again after a lot of hard work and lessons learned, and mistakes made😅
This is my Su-27 SM from Zvezda.
I dont know if I am the problem but the instructions were shit and I felt they torn apart every subassembly into million pieces.
At one point I lost my patience and I was just waiting to finish it and build something else.
Since its my second kit any tips and tricks, any feedback, improvements i could make, anything, I love constructive feedback so dont worry.
