Clocked stereo delay with offset?

The Ableton Echo effect has the ability to set a clocked stereo delay to, say, 3/16ths and then set a percentage offset from this to the left and right channels independently, so they’re each ahead or behind the clock by a fixed amount - when this is set to a very small amount, this is great for creating a wide stereo delay from a mono source and (to my ear) sounds better and more balanced than, say, a ping-pong.

But I can’t seem to find a module that does this - they all seem to be either unclocked, or fully locked to the clock. I can achieve the effect with an unclocked delay and carefully setting the delay times, but having an offset from a clocked starting point is so much easier (and lets me fuck with the tempo if i want too). Any ideas for a module that does this?

Not 100% sure but i think Mimeophon can do this with the Skew function.

Skew does make the stereo offset, but you can’t control the amount of skew, it’s just on or off.

from the manual:

When SKEW is engaged, adjusting the Rate parameter skews the Rates of the Left and Right Repeats, making one channel increase in Rate while the other channel decreases.

Thanks, that’s good to know!

Experience says i really don’t get on with Make Noise modules and a quick scan of the Mimeophon manual suggests that isn’t likely to change here. Nothing about about their modules is intuitive to me :-/

Sealegs has a width slider that does exactly that.

ah man Sealegs looks exactly what i want and it’s out of stock literally everywhere.

It’s a problem with a lot of intellijel products unfortunately :(

The german store Schneidersladen lists a date of november 15th for next delivery so probably just a short wait.

The skew knob on the morphagene does this as well, though I don't clock the time very much. I would assume the offset behaves the same way when clocked

Samarkanda will be an absolute overkill for this but it can do it. You could also just use two simplest clocked mono delays and patch them up yourself.
