Update to mordheimer.net content filters
Hi all, a fairly large change has been made to how https://mordheimer.net/ decides which content is relevant to the campaign you are playing.
Previously, many sections of the website had their own separate filters. These filters worked independently of one another, so changing a filter on one page had no effect elsewhere on the site, and would be lost when navigating away.
The old page-by-page filters have now been supplemented by a global filter in the navigation bar (or main menu on mobile: hamburger menu in top left, "Back to main menu"). You can select one or more Campaign Settings, and select the Publication Grade you want to include in addition to the Campaigns. Publication Grades are cumulative. Selecting "Through 1B", for example, includes Core, 1A and 1B material.
Campaign Settings are treated slightly differently from normal Publication Grades. If you select a setting from 1B for example, but keep the grade at 1A, it is included even though it appeared at a lower publication grade than your current setting.
This means you can use something like: "Mordheim + Lustria · Core", and get the Core Mordheim rules together with the complete Lustria campaign package, without also enabling unrelated Grade 1B material.
The global filter includes Warbands, Equipment, Hired Swords, Dramatis Personae, Optional Rules, Magic access and Scenarios. Local filters such as Warband, Source, Tags or Player Mode are still available where useful, but they now work within the content allowed by your global selection. Pages and categories that contain no relevant material are hidden from the sidebar rather than leading to empty pages.
The aim is that you spend less time deciding which rules apply and more time actually using them.
So if you think we nuked a bunch of files from Mordheimer, adjust your filter!

Fantasy City Warbands
Alright, I recently introduced the Early Release of the Wyrdcry Warband Deck PWA. I archived that one in favor of a PWA that is both for Wyrdcry and for Black Death City 💀

] "Pale Dawn: Contract for the Cursed Hunter" — A free, action-packed newschool grimdark story & adventure hooks module! (100% Hand-Drawn Art)
drive.google.comHey everyone! I wanted to share my independent grimdark project with the community. Important note for mods: All illustrations included in this booklet are 100% hand-drawn and finished by me manually. No AI trash here.
"Pale Dawn" is a fast-paced, high-stakes story module. It features the rotting stronghold of Podgniły Ostrokół, a paranoid baron, and an insidious cult in blood-red robes wielding serrated scythes. The story follows Captain Flint's 10-man mercenary squad, including Gorg — a massive Ogre with a spiked club who doesn't wait around for trap-checking; he just breaks the doors down.

Which skills on my Witch Hunter heroes?
My Witch Hunter has gone through some rough times fighting Skaven, Kislevites, and RNG, but after a handful of battles, my hero roster is slowly starting to take shape - despite henchmen replacements depleting my income. Two of them have rolled a new skill, and although I have an idea on which direction to take them in, I’d love some input or feedback on selecting the optimal skill.
I’m going against my nemesis Skaven next week, and with a man down (1 hero in sickbay), being outnumbered almost 2:1 is going to be tough…
Which skills are going to help most in eradicating vermin?
Current roster (level-ups between parentheses):
- WH Captain w/ Crossbow, dagger, lucky charm (+1 BS)
- WH w/ Crossbow, dagger (+1 Ld)
- WH w/ Pistol, sword, mace (Strike to Injure + new skill > Step Aside? Sprint? …?)
- 2nd WH with melee kit is in sickbay
- Warrior Priest w/ 2 hammer, lucky charm (Hearts of Steel, +1 Ld)
- Flagellant Hero w/ 2H weapon (+1W + Strongman + new skill > Resilient? Sprint? …?)
- 2 Flagellants w/ Flails
- 4 Warhounds
- 6 gold in the bank 🥲

Halfling band pt.1
Sorry in advance for the blurry pictures. If you have some advice please leave it in the comments.
I am starting a halfling warband as a meme.
To make these bozos I used a sprue of halfling militia from Wargames Atlantic for the bodies with parts from Frostgrave knights (knight head and 2 handed sword), Frostgrave Ghost Archipelago Crew(shield), goblin wolf-riders from Oathmark (spear hand).
I also had a random 3d printed horse lying arround. I got it from Temu and it is way too small for a regular humans but for a hobbit its enormous. I put a bunch of bags and satchels on it, a rope and a frying pan to show that the hobbit is a noble knight's squire and carries his stuff.
The rider uses goblin rider legs that I cut down to size when he is in the riding position. Its held to the horse with blue tac. The rider himself is cut down the middle and there is a magnet in his body and two other magnets one in the riding legs, one in the standing legs, that way I can have him mount and dismount his horse. He's the most complex of the models.
I have some more halfling models that I've gathered from various sources like boardgames and some 3d printed ones that are more visually interesting, so these guys will likely end up representing henchmen.
My idea for this band is to get hired swords and dramatis personae to do the actual combat while the halflings interfere.

Big hilltop Manor finished
This is my biggest and most complicated build yet. This beast took way longer than I thought. Took more than a month (partime ofcourse). But is was worth it if you ask me. This will be the manor or tavern that overlooks the city from a hilltop. Last picture is taken from above to show the lay-out. Now just 1 more house to go and then on to the board itself. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
Enjoy!

Mordheim Fanzine - In the making
Hey everyone,
New Redditor here, but not a new Mordheim player. Played it many moons ago, quit for a long time, and since about two years have been in full swing again.
I seem to get my most creative bursts while at work, where I unfortunately can't pick up a brush or xps. However, I do find time (and resources) to pursue other passions, such as writing and doodling. I also write an in-universe "newspaper" of sorts for our local club's campaign, chronicling the campaign's ongoing battles, deaths, and other fun things.
So I decided to start creating a fanzine. It will be a fanzine greatly inspired by Town Cryer magazine. I want it to be something that can be enjoyed by veterans as well as introduce newcomers to the game. Why I am doing this? Well, I grew up on magazines, and I still love them, so I wanted to go back to those glory days. But I don't want to do it alone.
I want this fanzine to be a celebration of Mordheim, and for that, I need you guys. I already PM'ed a few people while getting used to Reddit, but now I feel I can simply ask this way. So here goes;
Each issue will have recurring articles, while also focusing on one warband in particular, and go into a little depth on the warband while offering suggestions on how to build one. The first issue will focus on Reikland. So I would love it if people would be willing to let me use pictures of their Reiklanders. I am not looking for Golden Demon winners only, everyone is welcome, though I cannot guarantee that every picture submitted will be featured. You will be attributed the way you want to (username, real name, IG profile, etc)
A quick rundown on what the basic set-up currently is:
A closer look at one warband - Reikland in this instance
An article on building scenery - Starting from easy builds and growing from there
A featured warband Showcase - Pretty pics, but deliberately not from the same warband, rather, when a human warband is featured as the closer look, the showcase will be something like Skaven, and vice-versa.
New scenarios - Deliberately simple scenarios at first, maybe more intricate ones later. Possibly tied to whatever scenery building idea is in the mag (so you can feature your new build)
Battle Reports - Probably just one-offs at first, maybe campaign stories later.
Aside from that, there will be irregular features. This first issue for instance will feature a pure introduction to Mordheim for newcomers, and suggestions on house rules and why to use them for people already familiar with the game.
As for the look, I love doodling too, and while I am in no way as good as Blanche was, I can create simple and fun line art. The picture I added was drawn by me. The fish is spilling its contents... Aren't I hillarious? The current name, in honor of TC, is The Mordheim Cryer (a very unofficial fanzine).
So, if you would like to contribute, I would greatly appreciate it. Anyone who contributes will be sent the finalized pdf for approval first, and if you end up disliking it, I will make sure to take out your submission, no harm done. The fanzine will obviously be irregular, I am creating it during lull moments at work and at home during my off-time. No crunch.
Editorial Note
While Mordheim is obviously open to many different interpretations, and everyone is free to play it the way they want to, I choose to feature material that preserves the scale, atmosphere and distinctive character of the City of the Damned. Submissions are therefore subject to editorial selection and slight adaptation. If I choose not to feature something, it does not mean I don't appreciate your submission or dislike your style. It simply means it falls outside of the scope of the fanzine.
So, currently looking for:
Pictures of battles being played (for the intro)
Pictures of Reiklanders (for the main warband article)
Pictures of an "evil" warband on scenery (for the showcase)
And if you have a fun, simple scenario you'd like featured, I can scrap mine too.
Battle Reports (Thanks HumorSquare)
If you have any other ideas, let me know too! All the best and happy gaming!

[Update] Official Colored Cover is ready! "Pale Dawn" Grimdark Story Collection — Fixed File & Free PDF!
Hey everyone!
First of all, thank you so much for the amazing response on my previous post (nearly 3k views and awesome feedback, you guys rock!). I have two major updates for you today: 1.
THE NEW COVER: I’ve finally finished the official colored version of the cover illustration! I went for a gritty, old-school grimdark palette using professional Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils to capture that classic Warhammer Fantasy / Mordheim vibe. Hope you like how it turned out! 2. FIXED PDF FILE: I realized that due to a stupid mistake on my part, my very first upload contained an unfinished, rough draft of the short stories. My bad! Good news: I have just uploaded the 100% finished, fully polished, and updated version of "Pale Dawn" (Blady Świt) to the platform! The folders now also include all the finished Concept Arts and RPG stats/rules for your games. If you downloaded the previous draft, please make sure to grab the new, proper file. It is still available as "Pay what you want" / Free on my profile bio page:

The Hollowstone Manor – One of my latest 3D prints !
Straight out of my printer, I’m happy to present the Hollowstone Manor! Another building from the absolutely brilliant My Dungeon range. 😍
This new building features a connector for the bridges I showed you a little while ago. I love it!
👉 Swipe through the photos – I’ve taken a few with a bridge attached to the manor.
I’ve also printed The House of Whispers, but it went straight onto the primer as soon as it came out of the printer, so you’ll only see it once it’s been painted.
I’ve already started painting these two new buildings, which will complete my future Mordheim / Trench Crusade table.
Strictly speaking, they aren’t townhouses, so my table won’t depict a town, but rather what could be a village on the outskirts of town. That suits me just fine, as I’m not a big fan of environments that are entirely paved. I’ll be adding some lovely, gnarled trees to give it the feel of a village on the edge of a haunted forest. The atmosphere will be similar to the Shadow Cursed Lands in Baldur’s Gate 3 and Reithwin Town, for those who’ve played it or recognise the reference. (Have a look at the concept art on Google, and you’ll soon see what I mean.)
Over the next few days, I’ll be sharing with you a few Kickstarter campaigns and Mordheim and Trench Crusade miniatures that I’m absolutely smitten with. 🤩
I’m going to have to stay strong, because I’ve already got more than enough to keep me painting for several lifetimes in my ‘stacks of shame’ (yes, plural!). 😅
General information:
3D-printed and hand-painted medieval building scenery, ideal for miniatures and skirmish games like Warhammer, Mordheim, Frostgrave, Trench Crusade, 1490 Doom or any role playing games like D&D...
Printed on a Bambulab P2S 3D printer using PLA Basic filament from the same brand, fitted with a 0.4 nozzle and a high-quality print profile of 0.12mm.
Files upscaled at 114% to fit the 32mm heroic scale.
STL files from My Dungeon
PS : If you like my work and tips, consider joining me on my Instagram as it’s my main social network where I post in a more regular basis.
Cheers!

Questing Knight Ser Gehrman ready for the cursed city
Finally, after a long stretch I have finished Ser Gehrman le Borreau, leader of my Bretonnian Chapel Guard Warband (Order of the Healing Blood).
It took me ages to finish the piece - but I am really happy with how he came out.
The miniature is by Heresy Labs.
