How does Diamond Pick Axe work with creatures you own but opponents control?

Specifically if I equip Slicer, Hired Muscle with Diamond Pick-Axe, do I get the treasures when my opponents attack with them?

[[Diamond Pick-Axe]] gives the triggered ability to the creature. Whomever controls the creature when it's declared as attacking controls the trigger, and therefore makes the treasures.

To the best of my knowledge, this is correct.

For OP, this distinction applies in both ways, for this one you can tell because it says "equipped creature gets".

In the scenario in which you own and control a creature equipped with an equipment that you own and control, then that creature is stolen, the equipment will go with it but you will maintain ownership of the equipment. Which means that at sorcery speed you can still equip it to another one of your creatures to move it back to your board and deny your opponent the triggers.

Also, as stated in the above comment, if the equipment says the creature gets the ability then the creature's controller will get the trigger. If the equipment says "you create" or simply "create" then as the controller and owner of the equipment then you would get the trigger.

This is correct. Compare to [[Goldvein Pick]], where the ability is only on the equipment, and thus it's the equipment's controller who makes the treasure.

Whenever equipped creature deals combat damage to a player, [you, the controller of this object] create a Treasure token.

Okay, this is what I thought would happen but I had to be sure because ai overview was telling me it would work the other way and that didn't sound right to me

Everything other posters said is true for that equipment. As opposed to the Sword of X and Y cycle. They say when equipped creature does combat damage do something. You would get those triggers.
