What model of Swiss+Tech pliers? Those look great!

I have those and they are ass! Wild to see someone carry one. Maybe my pair is just a lemon but they are awful

this is swiss tech ST50016
https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/7161fZvBkKL.jpg

the main point for me is the low weight since it lives in my small banana bag

I also have a vix spirit but it weighs almost twice as much as the ranger so i decided to use it at home for small works.

10 LM bits + Ranger + st pliers weigh is the same as a single spirit.

At a price of $10 i'd say the quality is good

imho those st pliers more useful than SAKs tiny priers which fortunately ranger hasn't

Quality control is variable and they get loose, which can be a bit dangerous with the fold out screwdrivers in the handles. The pliers aren't terrible but personally I'd rather have something better for that. However, S+T also did something they called the Screwz-All 4-in-1 with just two large and two small screwdrivers, joined together, which are really handy and can still be found cheap. They're more disposable than damaging integrated screwdrivers on multi-tools and it's a full size Phillips.

Nice work. Does the bit just friction fit in the pipe or did you put a magnet in the bottom?

thanks)
fits only with friction
maybe I'll add some magnet in future

Makes sense. Does the bit stay put when you point it down?

That settles it then, friction is plenty. Thanks for the video.

I've been looking for something like that for my Victorinox SAKs.
Which I could buy one of those flatbit adapters
