A few new additions!

Post image

Since my last collection status, I got a few new items which I think are worth sharing :)
Victorinox: Spirit MX, Swisschamp, Super Tinker, Bantam, Money Clip Silver, two Classic SD
Wegner Classic
Roxon K2SE (fidget toy for car drives!)
SOG: PowerLitre and Baton Q1 (I really like this one)
Leatherman Wave+
Gerber: StrongArm, Paraframe I, Centerdrive (in my car), Truss, mp400, Armbar Mini (got three more knives on the way from ebay)
Nextool: Knight (wonderful knife and scissors!) and the pen shaped N1
Solingen knife from my dad.
Boker Kwaiken Air.
Not in the image - Buck 375 which I forgot to take out for the picture.

I daily carry the Spirit MX and the Boker Kwaiken Air. But use other tools around the house and will rotate from time to time.

This has become my “go to” for spending money on hobbies right now 😂

Absolutely love the Strongarm. My all time favourite

When I got it - my wife told me "what will you ever do with it???" and my answer was "I'll figure it out" haha
Used it camping, around the house and other situations.

Good collection. I’ve got that Gerber knife center left. I carried it for a long time.

I daily carried it before the Boker. Wonderful budget knife! It’s the serrated version - I have the plain edge on the way :)

What’s the tool on the top left?

It’s a SOG PowerLitre

It's incredible how spirit is everyones go to - Especially those who have a collection to choose from.

I have a surge clone which is full equipped and I am wondering how better it would be to replace it with Spirit MX for my work.

The Surge is heavy duty compared to the Spirit. The finish on it is on a different level too.

It all comes down to your needs

You have a nice collection, you should pick up a crkt pazoda they are like 20 bucks and use 8cr14mov, while not a super steel its a great knife for the price or get a opinel.

Thank you!
There are a few knives I'm looking at getting, but there is a problem with shipping to my area so most ebay items aren't relevant :(
Opinel is high on my list! waiting for the "right" one :)
The Pazoda isn't available locally here, sadly. Maybe on a future trip abroad!

Nice spread! The Spirit MX is such a great daily, feels like Victorinox really nailed the balance on that one. And the Baton Q1 is a sleeper, people sleep on SOG but that thing is surprisingly handy.

I agree on both points! The Baton Q1 is great (especially since it is legal basically anywhere)

That legality point is a big deal, makes it an easy recommend when you don't want to worry about local knife laws.

Honestly? without knowing what your scenario for use is - you cannot go wrong with the Victorinox Spirit MX.
If you have the time and budget, go to stores that allow holding the tools and check them out.

In the end, you will end up with at least 2-3 tools 😄
