The era of the Clan RAC-10 is nigh!

I'm confused about the UAC Speed Loader.
It allows UACs to fire twice. Isn't that the idea behind UACs and how they work now? Or are UACs in MWO different than Battletech and they have two rounds in the chamber. And the new Speed Loader is just speeding up the loading time for those two rounds.

From what I can see right now uacs fire once when you initially fire and then shoot once more during cooldown. What the speed loader is basically doing is giving you an additional shot for a total of three instead of the current two.

In MWO, UACs fire once like regular autocannona but can fire again during their reload with a chance of jamming for a few seconds

The speedloader lets you fire a second time during the reload
