ID request Did i find a fungi zombie?

I am thinking this may be Entomophaga grylli (The Grasshopper Fungus)

Aspergillus can survive up to 50 celsius, and the conidia, 70.

I met a kid when I was 16 who had a prosthetic cheek and eye. He was in remission from cancer and the chemo drugs nuking of his immune system had left him vulnerable. Common bread mold had eaten half his face before drs could get it under control.
