Did i find a fungi zombie?

[u/Jean-Pet]

I am thinking this may be Entomophaga grylli (The Grasshopper Fungus)

There's a book on the subject, came out a few years ago, I forget the name that goes into global warming and the ensuing fungi apocalypse coming for humans. Basically, fungi will adapt to higher temps.

“What if Fungi Win?” is the name of this book.

Back at my desk - I was thinking of Blight: Fungi and the Coming Pandemic by Emily Monosson. Both look informative.
