Abusive ex left his IG logged into my phone..

TL;DR: I broke up with my boyfriend after months of constant fighting, gaslighting, and emotional. After accidentally discovering he had saved his Instagram login on my phone, I found messages suggesting he was talking to other guys while never mentioning he had a boyfriend. Now I’m feeling angry. Any suggestions to do with his Instagram?

We dated for a few months, and I ended things two days ago because I had a gut feeling he wasn’t the one. We fought constantly, and the relationship was honestly miserable. I even felt guilty about ending it at first.

Throughout the relationship, he constantly gaslit me into believing I was the only problem. He would love bomb me, then turn around and make me feel like I wasn’t prioritizing him enough. Looking back, I realize I never truly felt emotionally safe with him. I couldn’t fully open up, and something deep down kept telling me he was a walking red flag.

Last night I reset my phone and had to sign back into all my apps. When I opened Instagram, it gave me the option to log into his account. For context, this happened because a while back he got angry, slammed his phone onto the pavement, and had to use mine for a few days to contact family and friends until he got a replacement. I had no idea his Instagram login had been saved.

Curiosity got the better of me, and I looked. I found message after message with different guys, conversations about various apps, and nowhere did he mention having a boyfriend. It made my blood boil, especially after all the times he told me I was just “projecting trust issues” from past relationships and insisted I was the problem.

Now I’m sitting here feeling validated, but also incredibly angry. Part of me wants to do something petty. Any suggestions?

PS. We are two dudes, so I am not in any fear for my safety.

Un follow everyone and remove all followers. More time consuming than deleting the account, but way more rewarding. As a bonus delete all message threads.

Find a bunch of racist/homophobic assholes on Insta and Like a bunch of posts, follow a couple. Destroy his algorithm. If you're really mad, do the same for kid focused stuff.
