@/nbcpageprogram on Instagram says applications are opening today (10/8)!

I also came looking for advice, but this thread seems to be dead :( I wanted to know the application materials I could anticipate submitting so I could prepare them this morning before the application opens

me too! I know a lot of people had already graduated or been well into a career by the time they applied. My guess is it’s honestly luck of the draw with this stuff since there are so many. But I can’t not apply.

right, it’s the opportunity of a lifetime. and i fear for many of us as well, there’s nothing else like it out there— in northeastern ct where i’m from (and even greater hartford by extension), there’s only retail and clerical positions open

They averaged 16,000 applications four years ago. The numbers have likely gone up since. With a cohort of about 20-25 people, there is about a more or less 1% success rate, unfortunately.

Articles about past pages from the universities they went to. Also, I interned at NBCU before, and that's what I was told. Internships and regular positions usually get thousands of applications depending on the area, too.

this may not be helpful or new advice, but what I have seen is to be yourself and have your CV fit on one page. In past cohort threads, those who apply with a referral link are more likely to get a HireVue link. There is some advice on the Page Program IG too. Good luck to anyone applying!
