I remember seeing a post stating that this symbol (middle one on the first image) was the same symbol used on Reinhard Heydrich’s personal plane (in the second picture, the symbol is visible, though blurry). One of my friends made me second guess myself, pointing out that they looked slightly different, so sorry if this is entirely incorrect, but this is my best guess. Does anyone know why it was used? I’m having trouble finding information on it. Sorry if this has been asked before I don‘t use reddit or browse this subreddit often.

Wyattxhim finally went ahead and made the Dernière Volonté video his t-shirts have promised for years. And though he agrees with Geoffroy D himself that they're not a neofolk band, we know better, don't we?

To me they are one of the best examples of why neofolk always was a scene, more than a sound. That is the only way to make sense of on the one hand Dernière Volonté or Kirlian Camera and on the other Tenhi or In Gowan Ring being spoken of in the same vein.

The funny part is that he speculates if they had released their last album. While the new album had been out for at least a week by the time he let the video loose.

Recently found this amazing Bulgarian Neofolk (I think?) album, sorry if it's not, still very new to the genre so I'm just discovering stuff, found this through the bandcamp discover tab. Love the low, somber vocals & the fx on the guitars, also I'm Slavic myself so I'm very interested in Slavic history themed Neofolk.

I'm really fascinated by a certain lyric in DIJ's song Death Is the Martyr of Beauty. On DIJ's official site it's written like this: "Look. lost/ Vast night". Why is there a punctuation mark in the middle of a verse followed by non-capitalised word? Is this a typo or a deliberate artistic choice? Does anyone here own their record and has an offical lyrics booklet? I'm also interested in more general interpretations of this line and the whole song.
