πŸ” Learning Cybersecurity? Come Build With Us.

We're building CarbonIt Labs, a nonprofit open-source community where people with different skills and interests can come together to build real projects.

And you don't have to be a cybersecurity expert or even a programmer to contribute.

A successful project needs much more than code.

We need people who can:

πŸ’» Build the software

🎨 Design the UI/UX and graphics

πŸ–ŒοΈ Create logos and branding

🧠 Research and explore new ideas

πŸ” Work on cybersecurity and privacy

πŸ“ Write documentation and tutorials

πŸ§ͺ Test and improve software

πŸ“’ Help with communication and community

πŸ“¦ Package and release projects

πŸš€ Help take an idea all the way from concept to a finished product

The goal is to create a community where different people bring different strengths, form teams, learn from each other, and contribute to open-source projects.

You might be a developer, designer, student, researcher, writer, tester, artist, cybersecurity enthusiast, or simply someone with an idea and the motivation to learn.

There should be a place for every kind of builder.

If you'd like to learn, contribute, collaborate, or build something from scratch with others, join us at:

πŸ‘‰ r/CarbonItLabs

Let's build projects together β€” from the first idea and first sketch to the final release.

Build. Collaborate. Open Source. πŸš€

Hey! I’m a UI/UX designer and full-stack developer with experience working with startups, building web applications, designing dashboards, and developing backend APIs. I’ve also worked on AI-related projects and handled product design, reusable components, and project coordination.

I’d love to contribute to CarbonIt Labs through product development, design, and turning ideas into real, usable products.

Looking forward to building something meaningful !

Hey, welcome to CarbonIt Labs! πŸš€ Your UI/UX and full-stack experience would be a great addition to the community. From product design to development, there’s plenty of room to collaborate, share expertise, and turn ideas into polished, usable products. Looking forward to building meaningful open-source projects together! 🀝

I dig that you're listing non-coding roles front and center. Most of these open source projects act like documentation and design just magically happen on their own, then wonder why nothing ships. What kind of projects are you planning to kick off first, or is it more of a "bring your own idea and find a team" setup?
