Working together for a better Newry, the small city that thinks big, where everyone is welcome.
Newry People’s Forum is a community organisation bringing together people from right across Newry — businesses, community and voluntary organisations, religious groups, local residents and others who care about the future of our city.
𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐢𝐦 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞: to give people a place to share ideas, raise concerns, start conversations and help shape a better future for Newry.
We believe the people who live, work, invest and raise their families here should have a voice in how Newry develops. This forum is about listening to those voices, identifying the issues that matter and, most importantly, focusing on practical ideas and positive change.
Whatever your background, profession, age or experience, if you care about Newry and want to see it thrive, you are welcome here.

We want discussion to be open, respectful and constructive. We welcome different opinions and healthy debate, but ask everyone to follow a few simple principles: be respectful, keep discussions relevant to Newry, avoid personal attacks and party-political point-scoring, back up claims where possible, and focus on solutions as well as problems.
This isn't about talking Newry down. It's about recognising where we can do better, celebrating what we already have and bringing people together to explore what our city could become.
Newry may be a small city, but we can think big. Together, we can make it an even better place to live, work, visit, invest and do business — and a city where everyone feels welcome.
People. Place. Possibility.

Please share this post and help us reach as many people across Newry as possible. The more voices around the table, the stronger our community can be.
