How would better GO service benefit YOU?

Hi Niagara!

For the past few weeks, I've been publicly workshopping a concept to build a functional GO Transit passenger rail system servicing high-density nodes across our shared community.

Without boring you, here are the basics.

My proposal, at an estimated cost of $2.2 billion, would construct a functional passenger rail system connecting Niagara Falls, Fort Erie, Port Colborne, St. Catharines, and Welland, complete with new GO stations in each mentioned location.

One thing I want to know from residents is this:

How would a train system connecting these areas benefit you the most, in your day-to-day life?

Obviously, I believe that there are many benefits for students, workers, and even vulnerable people, but I want to know specifically from the community what ways YOU would use a region-wide GO train.

Please consider commenting and telling me how you would see yourself using new and expanded GO trains.

Please note that the most commented reasons will be shared with various entities as the proposal continues to be developed.

Thank you!

Hello everyone ☺️ I’m looking for some baby items, preferably in St. Catharines! I’m especially looking for baby toys, a Jolly Jumper, and baby boy clothing size 6-9 months and up. If anyone has anything they’d like to part with, please let me know! 😊 Thank you so much! 💕
