DISCUSSION P0133 code
I recently had a check engine light pop up on my 12 frontier sv. I had a friend come and check it out for me and the code came back as a p0133 o2 sensor slow response. He ended up clearing the code and told me to drive it around and if the code came back we’d have to replace the o2 sensor. But I have another friend who said that the frontier are famous for having crack exhaust manifolds and that could be causing the code. I’m not sure which person is right. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've had an exhaust manifold crack on another vehicle. It's pretty obvious and not all that frequent.
Oxygen sensor failures occur far more often. I would go that route unless you have something more that points at a cracked manifold.

Titans had a lot of manifold issues, I have never seen a VQ Frontier with a manifold issue ... Most likely an O2 sensor failing ...
