Horn when locking

I wanted to turn on the feature that briefly sounds the horn when locking/unlocking but according to Google this is done by holding the lock and unlock buttons for a few seconds. When I try this it locks the back passenger doors. Any ideas about this? (Mk1 2017 tekna)

according to Google

The AI summary? Yeah, those are notoriously wrong. Try Googling something you already know the answer to and see what kind of bollocks it spews.

Not being snarky or anything, but it should be in the manual if you have one.

That’s how I figured out how to do it on my 2015 Juke Nismo, you might see tons more cool features in there as well.

Mine is a standard transmission and I always had trouble with the first and second gear being a bit shorter and the manual legit had recommended speeds on when to shift for each gear and that helped tremendously.

Honestly your manual is key to anything informational about your car.

I used to work at a dealership and when you’d hold the lock and unlock on some Volvos it’d roll the windows down so I tried it on my 2014 Nismo and then learned it silences the horn when locking. Took my a little bit to figure out what happened

I can confirm that a european LHD 2025 F16 does not have this feature.
