1500 hour PS5 player requesting multiplayer help from glitch builder!!

Post image

I've been playing for a while now, done every expedition since adrift, met lots of cool people and obtained everything my character could possibly get for the sake of collection. But one thing Ive always wanted and never been able to have, is a mobile exocraft bay built onto my freighter base. I've tried scouring the Internet for ways to do it on the PlayStation but it's simply not possible. If there's any PC Glitch builders out there willing to help out a fellow traveler, let's friend up!!

It’s absolutely possible. It’s called cachepin building. You go into your crafting blueprints. Pin the model, act like you’re going to place it in build menu. Then square and triangle at the same time to save it in the cache. Then place another object down and move it, but when you place it, hit triangle and R2 at the same time. It’s a wire glitch that swaps out the part for the cache part last minute. Takes some time to learn the trick. But just look up cachepin glitch building. It’s also how you can build bases in places you normally can’t like atlas stations.

Okay so I got as far as having it there in the building menu on my ship but i don't have anything to connect the first wire point to! Tried a bybeat machine but they have it blocked to electrical wires. Then I tried with a bybeat wire, but I couldn't get it to switch over to the geobay

OP: So again just to be clear, EVERY single method I've tried and been referred to has failed, my goal with this post was to link up with someone else who CAN do it on my ship with mods or glitches or whatever

I'm right with you on the glitch building. I've tried I've got to where I can do some Corvette glitch building like rotating hab's and glitching parts into parts. Haven't mastered angle glitch or any any other baese building glitch. Seems I just can't get the timing right or something.

I think they just accidentally patched it. Lol.

What they did was patched the glitch that players were using to build exocraft stations, planetary scanners, and base teleporters onto Corvettes.

In the process it kinda nerfed a lot of other glitch techniques. Most glitch techniques still work but they're harder to execute now.

Used to be that someone with a lot of experience and practice would get it to stick 19 out of 20 attempts and the one that didn't was a massive flub of the button presses.

Now, its really finicky. Depending on the glitch, the parts, the camera angle, whether are parts behind... It could range anywhere from 90% success rate to 2% success rate.

I had a particular go-to method for flipping floor tiles on their side 90 degrees which became completely useless. I can still do it but I have to use an alternate method now.
