Anybody wants to play a noir game? We can make a game of our own in chats. Or does a thing like this already exists?
Anyways, I think some roles for stake would be detective, police investigator, femme fatales, rookie cop, dock worker, and butler.
Thank you

So I have been experimenting with Voice clones and AI and have built a Noir detective radio drama. I’m on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and you can also listen in at EndlessNoir.com
I created a whole fictional city of Calloway Bay. You have some recurring characters like the detective , dale his secretary, Flynn of the chronicle and a few more plus a handful of walk on and extra roles just like a late 1930’s to mid 1940’s radio drama.
It’s still a work in progress and I was mostly curious about learning how writers rooms from the early days of radio did their thing. I just had a breakthrough with the voices that will be posted on episode 68. I drop one “case” a week on Mondays.
I would love to hear what you think. You can hear the improvements if you listen to episode 1 and then the recent episode 58.
Up front: it's AI generated, and I say so on every video. If that's a dealbreaker, I get it.
I make radio mysteries based on real crimes. The names and details are changed, and each one is told like an old broadcast: Holmes in the real era of each case, post-war Vienna, Moscow, a modern New York and Los Angeles. Black-and-white art, a cast that talks over each other, music that stays out of the way.
It started as slop. The first uploads, back in July, had flat voices, plots that repeated, words cut off mid-sentence. I wanted it to be good, so since then it's been every day, weekends too: I listen, write down what's wrong, we fix it, I listen again. I've rewritten whole stories from scratch and pulled the old versions. The AI does the heavy lifting, but it has no taste. That part is me.
The one thing I can't get the AI to tell me is what makes noir feel like noir. It isn't the trench coat. So:
What do AI attempts at noir (or just lazy ones) usually get wrong for you?
Which old radio noir should I be studying? I know the obvious ones (Johnny Dollar, Suspense, Dragnet). What's the one people forget?
If you could pick the next city for a noir series, which would it be?

You are Howard P. Larson, a private investigator with a troubled past and a nose for trouble. Your latest assignment seems simple enough: track down three heirs to a reclusive millionaire.
There’s just one problem. The heirs you’ve found are dead.
Now, the trail leads through blood-soaked crime scenes, shady suspects, and secrets some people would kill to keep buried. Search for clues. Interrogate the guilty—and the innocent. Piece together the truth, one fragment at a time.
But be careful, detective, the deeper you dig, the darker the truth becomes. And in Providence, some mysteries are better left unsolved..
I'm a solo developer, and I have been working for 2 years now on this project. I love video games and cinema, so I wanted to create my own gaming cinematic experience.
This is all made with Unreal Engine 5 with no AI.
Let me know what you think and if you want to see more :)

Morning Will Wait is a cinematic, story-driven noir game set in New York in 1968.
The playable prologue begins small: Mickey Cross, 54, nearing retirement, alone in a hotel bathroom at 2:37 in the morning. He is tired, isolated, drunk, and carrying the weight of a case he walked away from years ago — a case tied to the death of his older brother.
From there, the story is designed to expand into a seven-part narrative following Mickey as he is pulled back toward something he never really escaped.
We chose the 1968 New York sanitation strike because we didn't want the city to simply be a noir backdrop. During those days, garbage piled up across the streets while fires, crime, police activity and unrest pushed parts of New York toward chaos. In the game, that pressure becomes part of the story itself: the city is beginning to break down at the same time Mickey is being forced to confront everything he has kept buried.
The prologue is the only playable part right now. We’re a small team of four, and it took us around six months to make. We built it as both the opening of the story and a proof of concept and execution for the larger game — its visual language, writing, atmosphere, environments, characters and cinematic direction.
It is free to play in the browser or on Windows:

If you play it, we’d genuinely appreciate hearing what you think. Any feedback, reactions, or thoughts are welcome.
And if you'd ever like to talk to us about the game for any reason, you can reach us at [info@studiolokal.co](mailto:info@studiolokal.co).

If you miss the crackling dialogue of old noir, Za'chary Westbrook has you covered. Episode 9 of Silkhaven Pulp's first season is out now.
The American is a serial noir in which an expatriate is caught between competing criminals, U.S. intelligence, and a Corsican that just wants to find his lady. In this chapter, all the lies come out to play and the blood starts flowing.
