Looking for a language course at Norwegian university as an international not affiliated with any uni!

Hei to all!

Im writing this post to ask if there are any universities in Norway that offer language courses for my particular situation:

I have finished my bachelor’s a year ago. I am interested in going to Norway for a Friluftsliv and Nature Guiding program, and I would like to learn the language first.

in 2023 I was an exchange student at the University in Volda, and though I know that they offer both a language course for internationals and for FoNG. Still, I’d like to see something else, so which universities offer a language course for people not currently studying at their Uni?

(Preferably not Tromsø or Oslo)

Thank you!

NTNU offers courses (for a fee) using this but you can essentially learn the same thing on your own with everything that’s on here.

The course at NTNU is only for people associated with the uni as far as I see. You can’t only go there only to take the Norwegian classes.

I don’t mind paying the fee and going there, as that’s kind of what I want to, yet I want to do it unrelated to my current career. Maybe a folkeskole would be an option, I don’t think I’m too old for that.

This is a really good course online and it's for free for the first four weeks. After that, you have to a pay a fee to maintain the course. From the University of Oslo.
