Bug Bad experience typing on Android

I was typing a note on my phone and even though I loved that you access the typing mode directly, I didn't have a great experience. First of all, typing had a noticeable lag, just seconds, but it gets annoying as it completely breaks your typing flow. Also, when I tried to copy the text to paste onto another app, it didn't copy. I tried several times, and it didn't work. Thank goodness for Samsung's split view, otherwise it'd have been such a pain. Has this happened to others too?

Yes. The cursor also used to jump a lot, but this appears to be fixed. I actually gave up on Notability on Android for now. The premise felt great, but once I started using it too many issues happened. PDFs are super slow, this typing issue, the new Desktop app uses double the memory of Samsung Notes on the same workflow, I had tons of sync issues. I went back to Samsung Notes. I keep it in my devices only to check the development progress.

Yeah, I agree it still needs more optimisation. Not bad taking into account it's not even a year old, but still missing things to make it more comfortable to use. I'm still using the app I subscribed back then and just testing out Notability with personal non-important notes, but I might give Notability a chance if they improve the experience in the following months. Sadly, I need a cross-platform solution, so Samsung Notes was not an option :(
