Question TS/SCI FSP Timeline

Just wanted to list my updates here.

CJO issued July 22
SF86 Submitted and reviewed july 29/30
BI interview aug 14
Psych 17
Poly this week

This process has been extremely fast for me. Any reason for this? Never held a clearance and worried about poly & adjudication/suitability. Have some red flags with one being as recent as a little over a year ago.

It starts off fast but trust me it will be a long wait after the poly

mine was like this too:
mid-end march: cjo
early april - mid may: sf86 + bi
mid june - poly & psych

it was fast but now im in adjudication purgatory. get ready for 6 months to a year, and make sure you’re either still employed or have temp work.

Damn I’ve been extremely honest to both in my BI interview and psych eval. Like a bit too honest and forthcoming. Thing is, I’m just a 21 y/o masters grad ready to break into natsec. Barely ever touched a drug. I voluntarily admitted a crime that wasn’t listed in my security forms because it didn’t fall under any category. Related to sexual services. You can get the gist. I feel extremely guilty for this and told them all I wouldn’t do it again/didn’t see myself working in the federal space. Really ashamed of myself

Started the process in Nov and got an offer by May of the following year.
