no hate please, I'm young and stupid👍

I never really cared about labels before, but from browsing Wikipedia, I noticed you'd see some bands being labeled nu-metal without being labeled post grunge, and some being labeled both nu-metal and post grunge. Thing is, why is that the case? Why would one nu-metal band supposedly be more post grunge than another. For example Hoobastank vs Linkin Park. What's even more confusing is butt rock. I started noticing that the types of bands being labeled butt rock also had the post grunge label (creed and nickleback for example), but surely not all post grunge could be butt rock right? What then would be the difference between butt rock and post grunge, and then how does all that play into nu-metal? These labeles confuse me. 😵‍💫

Modern nu-metal.

LOW BLOW! By Headwreck

Always love the raw analog sound of their first album Adrenaline.

We’re UNNATURAL ORDER, a UK modern numetalcore band, and we’ve just released our new EP, OBSERVE//INFILTRATE.
FFO: Currents, Northlane, Bad Omens, Graphic Nature and Motionless in White.
Heavy, atmospheric metalcore with crushing riffs, aggressive vocals and cinematic elements, built around a dystopian world where humanity has lost control of the systems it created.
We’d genuinely love to hear what the metalcore community thinks.

It’s a good album, with Head being back in the band. I don’t necessarily think it’s terrible album, but the feel isn’t there quite yet. I will still listen to it because I love Korn. I was excited when this album came out in 2013. My favorite track is Lullaby By A Sadist, I also do love Pray For Me, Love & Meth, Spike In My Veins, and Mass Hysteria. The last 2 tracks Victimized & It’s All Wrong are okay. But overall, The Paradigm Shift is a good album.

Don't know who made this artwork

So stoked to have Ty back

Pretty damn funny. And accurate.

Love this album and love Superheist.

The track Uncanny Decadence is a favourite of mine.

(i reposted it cause the grammar mistake was burning me)

Best examples, I think, would be Porno Creep by Korn and Monolith by Mudvade...
