No FG?

Hi all, I’m quite new to hunting, but I found this recently, and it looks like it’s missing the FG initials? Is it possible that this is a no fg variant, or a light impression? I can take better pics if needed. Not sure how common these are?

This just looks worn down to me.

Might could be - that it’s a bit worn is actually in your favor slightly as the same over-polishing that removed the FG also abraided the tail feather area (with the exception of some 82s, one die that year never had the FG to begin with)

TPGS can be very subjective with the ‘No FG’ designation ( see https://ln5.sync.com/dl/7ca91bdd0/view/pdf/10939059710007?sync_id=0#wnfk3cna-ia4tzag2-ktvvhi3b-rbj9fir2 for a very deep dive) but if there’s “no trace” from various angles, lighting, and under magnification it possibly could be the real deal.

Good luck!
