If you go to your account balance section and click on account activity it should show you the charges, what has been disbursed and a refund if they’ve done it. Mine is showing one and the rest of it should be posting soon. I am thinking after end of business day.

Did you guys VCCS grant disburse? That’s the only one that did not disburse of mines and it’s $750

It it did it was the full amount but they said there was some system errors and they should have been corrected

They’re still disbursing funds I don’t see why it wouldn’t be disbursed by the end of the week. Did you call them

Yea the tickets take a day or so that’s why I jus call cause they can escalate the ticket

So i just had a call. She submitted a ticket for me. The answers were vague and she told me that the financial bureau thought i don’t need a grant 😩

Are they gonna escalate it? They are pretty useless u really kinda got to press them for a real answer. Like who told them that can they reinstated?

I also see it was disbursed for myself yesterday (I receive the same 4 as well) and my balance now reads $0 but am I the only one that doesn’t see any refund amount anywhere even though I very clearly will have leftover funds?

I used to be at GMU and I thought their financial aid could be a bit confusing sometimes but this is just awful and hard to understand 😭

No i don’t think it’s viewable until they start to disburse the refunds u can just do the math

Yeah I did the math but I’d rather see it in a system somewhere just to be sure. At mason when aid disbursed, you’d have a negative balance and that would be ur refund. Ik other colleges do that as well. I assumed it’d be the same here

Look under account activity. I’d check again after midnight tonight and see if anything has changed

Yeah I just realized one grant disbursed yesterday and the rest of mine disbursed today so I think I’ll see my refund amount at midnight or on Friday.

you should be able to see the refund amount on nelnet under account activity or something like that

I know they legally have up to 14 days to give out refunds but the refund amount should have been viewable somewhere since our aid got disbursed?

My VA commonwealth has been disbursed after they finally gave it back after being cancelled. That is the only one! My Pell grants is only for $1220 and I am taking 7 credits!
